Greenville Named Realtor.com Top Housing Market of 2022
It’s no secret Greenville, South Carolina is growing and growing fast! Today, Realtor.com confirmed that fact by listing Greenville as one of the top ten housing markets of 2022.
According to Chief Economist Danielle Hale, the top housing markets of 2022 exhibit “thriving local economies, low unemployment rates, convenient access to the outdoors and relatively affordable housing, offering the best of both small-town quality of life and big city job security.”
Realtor.com’s housing forecast predicts cities like Greenville to see unprecedented growth in home sales and listing prices throughout the next year. Across the ten cities mentioned in their 2022 article, Realtor.com expects home sales to increase 11.6% YoY (compared to a national average of 6.6%) and home prices to increase 7.9% (national home prices are expected to increase by 2.9%).
