Are you looking for a fun way to celebrate the holiday season with your family? The holidays can be an overwhelming time, but we at Hamilton and Co. hope to make things a little easier by sharing our list of over 30 2023 holiday events in Greenville, South Carolina!
Please keep in mind, some of these events may be ticketed or require advance reservations. Plan ahead to make sure you're prepared.

When: November 17th - December 25th
The 38th annual Festival of Trees will bring the 2023 holiday season to life! Spectacularly decorated trees line the entranceway of Courtyard Marriott Downtown and Hyatt Regency Greenville in downtown Greenville, giving visitors and community members the chance to experience the magic of the holidays.
All proceeds will assist with transitioning the Bon Secours St. Francis Cancer Center to the nexus of a Cancer Program.

Join the City of Spartanburg for our 29th Annual A Dickens of a Christmas this winter! This free Victorian holiday extravaganza is sure to get any Scrooge in the festive spirit!
Christmas market, living window displays, horse drawn carriages, and more. Admission is free, but ring cash for holiday vendors! This is a pet and smoke free event.

Downtown TR will be filled with family-friendly activities including a festive tree lighting ceremony, The Great Book Adventure, selfies with Santa, snowball fights by the gazebo, bagpipers, FREE, make-and-take Christmas craft stations, train rides on the trail, and so much more…

- Hot Cocoa provided by Hotel Hartness. The One 5 will be offering up a yummy menu, beer and wine. Roast your own smores by an open fire at one of our fire pits on the Grand Lawn
- Tree Lighting of our 30ft community tree on the Grand Lawn. Trackless train to take kids and kids at heart around the neighborhood

Join the City of Mauldin and the Greater Mauldin Chamber of Commerce for A Merry Mauldin Christmas! This year’s festivities will include live holiday music, a holiday market, pictures with Santa, the annual tree lighting, and some jolly extras that will help make your spirits bright!

Come to Fountain Inn for the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at 110 Depot St. Fountain Inn, SC 29644. This is the kick-off to Christmas "Inn" Our Town Festival. Enjoy live Christmas music and the traditional lighting of the City tree.
When: December 1st | 5pm - 8pm
Enjoy performances, food, and free holiday crafts. The event concludes with Santa and Mayor Rick Danner lighting the Christmas Tree at the top of the park.

Welcome the Christmas season with your favorite carols and thousands of twinkling lights at BJU’s annual Christmas Celebration and Carol Sing! This free community event includes an Alumni Holiday Market and a University Symphonic Wind Band and Combined Choirs Christmas Concert. If you have children or grandchildren, at 4 pm we open our Christmas Village including crafts, Christmas storytelling, cookie decorating, and much more.

Experiencing the joy of the holidays seven days a week, rain or shine. Park your vehicle and enjoy the dancing light show or drive the track and immerse yourself in the lights.

Come join us as we celebrate our 30th Anniversary this year of Anderson Christmas Lights! Be sure to check out the Christmas Village while you're here too! There will be vendors, refreshments, entertainment, general store and much more!

Entry is FREE + open to all, RSVP not required. Grab your best (worst) holiday sweater and celebrate the season with Miracle at Southernside!
The brewery will be decked out from floor to ceiling in holiday spirit with thousands of lights, seasonal cocktails + craft brews, Christmas music, and more!

A display of gingerbread houses will be available for viewing from December 6 - 16 during regular Gallery Hours at the Greer Center for the Arts. Visit the event website for contest rules and eligibility.

Spark your Christmas spirit by watching festive floats parade down Main Street in Fountain Inn to herald the holiday season.
When: December 7th - December 16th | 4:30pm - 9:30pm
Tour the twinkling lights of historic downtown Fountain Inn by riding in their horse-drawn carriages. Perfect for families, work outings, date nights, and more! Get into the holiday spirit with this classic tradition.
*There will not be any carriage rides available on December 9th, check out the Merry Market that day!

Come watch Main Street light up while you rock around our 30-foot Christmas tree adorned with 25,550 LED lights. We'll count down with Mayor White and special guest, Jane Robelot from WYFF, as we light the official City of Greenville Christmas tree Located in front of M. Judson Booksellers. This exciting FREE event includes food trucks and vendors, live music and a special visit from Santa Claus. The official tree lighting will take place between 6 and 6:15 p.m., so be sure you come early to ensure you don't miss out on the magic.

Glide your way into the holiday season at United Community Ice on Main. Greenville's only outdoor ice rink is a favorite winter tradition, with a variety of promotions and special events scheduled throughout the season. Local nonprofits and school groups construct and decorate grand holiday postcards displayed throughout Greenville's Main Street plazas in December. Vote for your favorite!

You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout, I'm telling you why... Santa Claus is coming to Camper(t)own 🎶 The jolly man himself will be making an appearance at the 2023 Camperdown Plaza Holiday Market on Sunday, November 26th! 🎄

Window shopping has never been so fun! Downtown merchants transform Main Street into a holiday wonderland for residents and visitors to enjoy. Visitors can stroll the streets and vote for their favorite merchant display every December.

Bring the family and create a new holiday tradition at The Greenville Christmas Market. Wander through the beautifully decorated Grand Bohemian Lodge and keep the festivities going with live music, local vendors, holiday-themed food and beverages and photos with Santa Claus. Come and join us all season.

The 2023 Indie Craft Parade Holiday Pop Up will be open Fridays through Sundays beginning November 3. For eight weekends, a curated mix of handmade giftable art, home goods, jewelry, and children’s items will be available for purchase.
The Pop Up Shop is only accepting card payments at this time.
In conjunction with the shop, 3 outdoor Mini Markets will be held on Saturdays in December from 11am–3pm. Each market features 25+ different makers.

The Holiday Arts Fair is located INSIDE the Center for the Arts, with approximately 20 vendors spread throughout the facility. Visit our Resident Artists in their, and stay warm while you shop for handmade gifts at the market inside.

You Choose and We Cut. In addition to Christmas trees, we have farm animals, a North Pole mailbox for those Dear Santa letters, and a stump grinding service. We shake, bale, and assist with loading.

Country Boy’s is a local full-service garden center and year-round Christmas shop. Their location on Woodruff Road features beautiful Christmas Trees each year. Wreaths and Christmas Tree Stands available for purchase, and free coffee and hot chocolate are available for all tree shoppers!

Two weekends only! Christmas at the Farm is more than just a tree lot. It’s an experience for the whole family full of hot chocolate, s’mores, and fun holiday activities, all centered around picking out your Christmas Tree.
